You are not alone in feeling overwhelmed by physical sickness, emotional distance, and spiritual darkness—even if/when heading in the right direction (Matt 14:13-15). You might be too far in a pit of personal problems to notice anything around you or so stuck in the relational storms that make it hard to see the person standing right next to you.

Even Christians who believe the Bible is the right guide can still find it hard to know exactly how to move forward. But who do we turn to for help (if we manage to at all)? Ask yourself: “who is that person, how do they perceive my concerns, where will they concentrate their efforts, and why they are even helping me?” The answers will tell if they can help recalibrate your journey to the original destination and ultimate purpose that you were meant for.

Jesus told us that we have the honor and responsibility to care for who He gave us and bring all to Him (Matt 14:16-18). We share pragmatic, historical truths learned from Westminster Theological Seminary and the Christian Counseling & Education Foundation (“CCEF”), but speak humbly and plainly (without the jargon that only theologians understand; while remaining unrestricted from the limitations that come with secular government licensure).

We will help you find relevant truths sourced from the entire Bible, not just a few verses taken out of context here and there, and not just superficial general concepts. We will help you apply them through evidence-based treatment methods from various psychotherapeutic models that God provided via common grace (e.g., biological, behavioral, cognitive, family systems, existential, humanistic, psychodynamic, socio-cultural, etc.).

Many sit with us, as we sit with Jesus. We hand out what He gives us, and miraculously it is what is needed and more (Matt 14:19-20). Our members personally sacrifice so that we can offer high-value services—with our local market costs as high as 250USD or 20000TSH—in a not-for-profit ministry setting (i.e., we don’t accept health insurance, but do accept you). We offer this to members because those whose hearts genuinely seek God should have access to the best help possible (viz., Biblical truths through evidence-based practice).

As you receive counseling, anything you contribute will be added to what others commit to investing/tithing into ICHTHYSroe; so that together we provide for those who need God’s help—not just those who can afford it. Unlike for-profit businesses, if you can not contribute out-of-pocket, we won’t turn you away. We will work with you to build a care team (of sponsoring organizations and individual partners) to walk with us as we walk with Jesus…
