Are you in the helping profession already? Are you a layperson who has a heart for serving God by loving His people? Has Jesus anointed you for His good works? Do you have a desire to work with those who share the vision of getting into people’s wilderness experiences and showing them grains of God’s truth to them until they come into the promised land?
Establishing a counseling ministry to comfort, heal, and grow God’s people with His Biblical truth in a secular world is near impossible. Quite frankly, it requires a miracle—an act of God. But if you’re here, that means He sent you—a miraculous member of the body of Christ!!! So to start, please:
We are always looking for those who will walk alongside us as we walk with Jesus!
If you have specific skills (such as those mentioned above), please reach out and express your interest. We have a particular need for business and legal expertise to formalize operations as a 501(c)(3), design/development for the website and other counseling artifacts, and marketing acumen to advise us on how to expand our reach.
Do you offer full-time benefits?
Benefits are many! Flexible hours, vacation time, and a virtual office make this a great place to work. Depending on your position, they can include funds for retirement, education, and health insurance. We believe in serving the servers!
What if I don't have that many years of experience?
As a Biblical organization, we must remember that the Apostle Paul had zero years of experience when he was anointed to be the greatest missionary of all time. As long as you are zealous for God's purposes while humble in asking Him for His gifts, you will do more than you currently imagine!
Do you have contract roles?
We can structure any arrangement that God is calling you to, but we prefer seeing you as a committed long-term member of our community rather than a short-term hire.
What if I start working or volunteering and then realize that I can't help anymore?
Commitment is a very important concept for Christians who are called to count the cost of discipleship (Luke 9:62; Luke 14:28-30), because it shows that they were wise enough to consider whether God was really calling them or whether it was their own self-inflicted obligation or self-focused desire. However, even the best of plans can change and we understand that. The only request that we make is that if you truly consider yourself working unto the Lord, you have enough respect for the job/responsibility to ramp down the work and transition to someone else so that work is not lost or disrupted (Col 3:23-25).
