We are honored to offer the opportunity to join us in caring for your loved ones—by taking a small part of what God has blessed you with and contributing it to His Biblical counseling ministry.

For as little as 2₵ a day (1 breakfast/year), $2 a day (lunch 1x a week), or 2% in annual tithe… whatever God places in your heart/wallet… loving groups or individuals (adult or child) can be the difference for family/friends, coworkers, or neighbors who cannot afford the high-value services that they need (with local market prices as much as 250USD or 20000TSH).

God doesn’t need anything from us.  He owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Ps 50:9-11)!  So you’ll notice that nowhere on this site or in our oral presentations will we ever talk about donations/charity.  This is because God tells us that everything we have is from Him, and what He gives to us is for the benefit of the common good.  When we give to others, we are simply directing His resources to His people.

However, when it is in our power, but we still choose to not give to others who need it more than us, it doesn’t matter if we say that we pray for them (Jas 2:15-17).  It begs the question of how we see these loved ones: do we imagine them as simply those we think of or see for the moment, or do we know that they are actual flesh and blood people who will continue to need even when they are no longer standing in front of us?  God tells us to see Jesus when we see others in need (Matt 25:37-40).

Also, it is important to give to those who care for the needy among us, or the body of Christ will not be sustained.  God tells us not to muzzle the oxen who work for us (1 Cor 9:9), but rather, share good things with them (Gal 6:6) and even give them a double-portion whether they are teachers or pastors (Biblical counselors in today’s parlance) (1 Tim 5:17).

We are inspired by how two stories of specific people in the Bible giving to God’s ministry.  On one hand, King David stepped up to be the first to contribute out of his own personal treasury when preparing to build the temple.  He had the most and gave the most in absolute terms (1 Chron 29:3-5).  On the other hand, the widow who did not have much gave copper coins and was highly praised by Jesus for giving the most in relative terms (Luke 21:1-4).
