You can grow at the pace and arrangement of your choosing.
God has more planned for you than you might hope to ask for or imagine!
Our aim is to make the process as straightforward as possible…
Think about where you are in life and how you need a custom-tailored approach for your experience; not pushed into a specific service or default theoretical orientation.
READ HERE-&-NOW SERVICESBe aware that you can have a counselor who sees you the way that God does and is anointed/trained to guide you through the wilderness as who God purposed you to be.
READ TRUTHS (THEOLOGY, THEORIES, TREATMENTS)Connect with a counselor who will talk to you so that you can see if they fit with your personality and style.
SCHEDULE FREE CONSULTATIONTalk it through with loved ones (e.g., your spouse, family, friends, church). Great if they can join the journey. If not, we can walk even closer together with you as we walk with Jesus.
READ ABOUT & SHARE CARE MODELSComplete intake assessment and custom-tailored informed consent forms to begin your personalized Biblical counseling journey!
REQUEST INTAKE & INFORMED CONSENT FORMSYou have unique experiences. Don’t be restricted to cookie-cutter options or mislabeled with a negative, broad-brush diagnosis.
God has so much to say about personal growth, relationships, inter-generational/family lifecycles, organizational dynamics, and/or His career-calling!
We meet you where you are, discern God’s purpose for you, and get you to where He has inspired you to be (no matter how difficult that appears today)…
It's hard to think about growing when healing is in order. Jesus opens the door and calls out His sheep by name.
READY TO FOLLOW HIS VOICE?Couples work isn't just for engaged/married couples or even romantic ones. A cord of three strands is not easily broken. Are you ready for becoming holier together?
READY TO BE HOLY WITH ONE ANOTHER?We are called to honor our parents and love our siblings. Jesus makes us even more by being spiritually adopted into the same household of faith.
READY TO LOVE YOUR BROTHER/SISTER AS GOD'S CHILD?It's hard working in a Christian organization because we still have a tendency to be blinded to our own sins. Jesus gave us the authority to judge (even one day the angels).
READY TO JUDGE/DISCERN WITHOUT JUDGING/CONDEMNING?There's a constant tension between being in the world but not of the world. It is biblical and ethical to not completely ignore your personal identity in the workplace.
READY TO MAKE YOUR PROFESSION A CONFESSION?You wouldn’t be the first person to be hesitant (or even suspicious!) of counseling because of the bad experiences that you/others have had. Counseling (secular and pastoral, and everything in between, even mislabeled Biblical counseling) has a long history of being corrupted by hypocrisy and ignorance.
God wants His whole counsel delivered in a loving way, predestining for you to steer clear of less skillful secular counselors (i.e., going in circles without guidance while neglecting our spiritual cores) or pastoral counselors (viz., “take two verses and call me in the morning” or “just pray about it”)!
We want you to take the time to confirm that you appreciate/need the differences in who we are, what we believe in, and how we heal/grow as a community…
Some counsel because it is a vocation. Others counsel because it is a hobby. Then there are those who counsel because it is both a profession and a confession of God’s faith. We have been called to love Him by serving His people–carrying “perfectly imperfect” burdens in wise yet loving ways (Gal 6:1-10). Our hope for you is firm only because we have been called to comfort others in the same way that the God of all comfort has comforted us (2 Cor 1:3-7).
We are honored to have been rooted as “Bible specialists” formed at Westminster Theological Seminary (WTS) and the Christian Counseling & Educational Foundation (CCEF). We have also continued to flourish our clinical expertise by selectively picking specific flowers of God’s truth for you (while noticing but avoiding the thorns in context!) from evidence-based practices (EBP) and practice-based evidence (PBE) cultivated at the Ph.D. level (Titus 1:9).
We too are always saints, often sufferers, and sometimes sinners. As broken people living among broken people in a fallen world, we are committed to sharing God’s gifts for the benefit of the common good (1 Cor 12:4-11). As we are being made into one body, by one Holy Spirit, we will sit, talk, laugh, and cry together. We will slowly but surely begin to walk together with Jesus, until we get to a place of collective suffering and rejoicing (1 Cor 12:26-27).
You will have more questions and perhaps even a lot to say after perusing this website.
God will give you not just content to agree with, but a process where the Holy Spirit in you will co-create a set of new corrective experiences!
We are eagerly awaiting your email/call so that we can finally be connected as brothers/sisters-in-Christ, giving you what God has given to us to share…
